Poke Stoke or Choke Joke CK

Yes I know it's ludicrously early. It's just that the fucking idiot Kenny threatened to start the next one again and I thought I ought to get in first.

Nothing to fear from our remaining fixtures, everything should be fine.

I’m not shitting it, not one bit.

Five games: three wins and a draw whatever anyone else does.

I thought Kenny had not had any losing CK.
9am on a Thursday is a shit time for a match. ESPN+ should have it on replay to be watched over lunch before I find out the score.

Naw. The anti-Semite started a Luton thread. I suppose that wasn't technically a "losing" one, but it felt like a loss and points were dropped.

Are you on the West Coast, Eddie? It's a noon kickoff for me here on the frontier of the Eastern Time Zone. Perfect as I start work mid-afternoon.

Never thought I'd be saying this but Bamford has to be one of the first names on the sheet.
Scored some well placed shots recently, seems to do a lot better with those efforts than when the ball is pinged to him.
He ain't no Fox in the box.

He's a strange one, scored 15 now and could finish the season on a goodish tally.
18 goals or so would not be too bad a total for a £7m striker.
I suppose his conversion rate* is par for the course at that price.

*Goals per chance.

And Cardiff. His Luton one was a secondary CK after WW’s, hence the point - his malign influence was somewhat mitigated as he didn’t get there first.

I know it's customary on here for the doom merchants to forecast The End Of Everything match-by-match, but... should Brentford only draw against Charlton and then lose v Derby, we could be going up if we win the next two against Stoke and Swansea. [Think we need Forest to beat Fulham too.]

Dunno, I could see 'em losing at Derby. Charlton would have to get lucky to take a point. Or Bees v unlucky.

Brentford are on a good run

But I very much doubt they’ll win all their remaining games.

I'd fancy Forest to win the play-offs too. Effective team in any one-off match: difficult to score against and with two potent finishers. Bees have been flying but the pressure to keep it up must be immense.

I think there's less pressure when on a winning run, as the team goes out expecting to win and a minor setback is just that - minor. Two matches without a win is a different matter, hence the importance of our result at Blackburn.

Wasn't it Graham Taylor who said that England had trouble scoring "what I like to call" the second goal?

I have just had my hair cut. I look nothing like Don Goodman.
More George Clooney. Without the money. Or the mansion. Or the talent. Or the good looks. I am taller than him, though.
