Too much effort and thinking required for this thread.

I'm out.

A decade of missed opportunities but also some magical moments.

In a resolutely unfashionable 442 I'd go with the below. Bonus points awarded for being here longer

GK - Green - Tough position. Nobody hung around long enough to make an impact. Green wins almost by default
RB - Ayling - Best fullback we've had in an age. Byram flickered more briefly
LB - Taylor - not a huge amount of competition.
CB - cooper - wins over Bartley by longevity really. Past two seasons have been v impressive
CB - Janson - Quality for as long as he was here
CM - Phillips - superb post bielsa
CM - Howson - central midfield isn't great but Howson had some impressive peaks in his last 18 months for us
#wingerz - Snodgras and Pablo - total class acts. Gradel not quite here as long so missed out
Strikers:
Becchio - sexy man
McCormack - slightly underrated by our fan base cos he's a twat. Scored tonnes for dog shit sides

Best goal against that I can remember was scored in the 3-7 home defeat against Forest, when a Forest player (probably McCleary) scored with a missile-like shot from the touchline at the Kop end. It wasn't the worst ever Leeds team as it contained Becchio, Snodgrass and McCormack but look at the rest - Lonegran, Connelly, Lees, O'dea, Paul Robinson, White, Brown, Clayton.

Best 11

Green

Byram Pontus White Taylor

Phillips Cook

Snoddy Pablo Grades

Becchio

Lees and Bartley have a claim for the CB spot.

Howson unlucky too and underrated amongst the supporters. One of the best players in the division in 10/11 and it's no coincidence his injury the following season was the final straw for Grayson.

Wood probably the best striker but becchio along with Byram in 12/13 was something special so he gets in.

Can't be arsed with a shit 11 too many to think about.

Just noticed this. I'm quite happy to report that we don't have to take ownership of this particular shithouse. He came through the ranks of Liverpool and Scum. We were something like his sixth or seventh club.

Ah, fuck, edited the wrong one! Need to remind myself who I put there first now. Had Halme then remembered someone else (and realised he didn't really come through the academy). Changed it to Davis now (also not really from our academy but same goes for Vieira technically), slim pickings really, lots of full backs but just Lees at CB.

I'll have a go but it will take a while to compile . My only certainty thinking about it now is O'Kane a defo for worst Xi .

It was lucky, it was extremely wind-aided, but that free kick goal Stephen Warnock, of all people, scored against Yeovil mid-decade was just cool looking.

Something-something here about Massimo Cellino, beer and refrigerators.

Feel free not to go for my full list, it was intended as a conversation starter, clearly it failed. I'm sure there's many more things to add to the list too.

The year is only hours old, and yet already everything I believed lies in tatters.

I'm shook. Shook, I tells ya.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.
