Brum Bastards Burst Brilliant Bielsa's Bubble CK

Postby JimbobMaloney » Sun Dec 29, 2019 9:06 am

For fuck's sake - 6hrs to go and no cyber kop?

You've made me do this, it's on you.

Birmingham City have won 1-0 in both of their last two home league games against Leeds United.
Leeds are without a clean sheet in each of their last 11 away league visits to St Andrew's, having conceded exactly one goal in each of the last nine.
Birmingham are winless in their last four home games in the Championship, having suffered defeats in each of the last two. They last suffered three consecutive home league defeats in March 2018.
Leeds have won 11 league games away from home in 2019 - their most in a calendar year since 2009 when they were in League One (also 12, excluding play-offs).
Lukas Jutkiewicz is the only Birmingham player to have scored more than once at home in the Championship this season, the striker having netted 38% of their team total (5/13).
Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich has scored nine away goals in the Championship since the start of last season - only striker Patrick Bamford (10) has netted more for the club in this period.

Team today?
Fast Eddie to start? This is killing me LUExit or remain; Play him today, secure the loan.
Zulus's last 5 are WLLLD, they have -10 GD, conceded 35 Goals, only relation teams have a worst record, Chloe has steadied the side but this is an ideal opportunity for Eddie to play a side who will conceed.
Warning the Zulus did push WBA 2 weeks ago to narrow 2-3 loss, going 2-1 up by HT & took a player of Austin's quality of the bench to sink them.
Expect a first half battering as they will be up for this.
Roberts & Shackleton back in the mix
Get into 'em!

Watching this through my fingers on the phone at best - traveling - and those stats and this phase together seem like a banana skin on thin ice with a fast flowing river beneath.

So presumably we'll smash them
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Top 8 all have games v lower league opposition, on form not expecting anyone around us drop points -vital not to drop anymore pints, cut out the defensive sloppiness & have a winning mentality going into NY.

I never take much notice of a teams current form, most raise their game by about 20% when we roll into town.

Can't see any change in the starting line-up unless there's been a niggle or two.
Be nice to get a win today after failing to get one in our last three.

We are everyone's cup final, Zulu's have history with us & showed @ ohm v WBA 2-3 & Fulham 0-1 they will give the better teams a tough afternoon.

If El Loco wants to keep Eddie he has to play him.

We need a win.
We should win.
Our stats deserve a win.

We won’t win.
Meh.

We've got this.

Dislike the ck title, but we're ok.
This and the next game = 6 points.

They have the highest percentage at home for aerial duels won - so we know what's coming. Bamford isn't going to get much/any joy. So it might be a shout for MB to start Nketiah and try to stop the recall.

There were presentations and personal appeals from Orta to get him. I wouldn't have thought the pitch was "yeah we'll bung him on for 10 minutes occasionally"

And for those of the @Michael_TSB bet against Leeds persuasion, I've got Wendies, Brum, Brizzle and Fulham to win, WBA to draw @117.45 :clown:

Not looking forward to this, the last 3 games have curtailed my optimism.

Cheers

we struggled to put this lot away in the centenary home game, i'm not in the least bit confident we'll put them away with our new found defensive naivety this afternoon.

i'd start eddie up front and stick patrick on the bench for two reasons, eddie looked more dangerous than patrick in the second half the other day and to give bamford a rest (or kick up the arse) before the west brom game.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Feeling very lose-y about this one. Recent results are giving me a really bad sense of deja vu from 2018-19...

Fucks sake, you would think we were our customary 15th place in the table.

Having said that Brum will probably shithouse their way to a narrow win.

Sky app suggests the games on’t telly - red button perhaps, as nothing showing on TV schedules?

I don't think Bielsa will make any changes - it's not his style. 2-0 Leeds, Harrison and Klich.
