Neil's Nob-Enders v Bielsa's Ballers CK

Postby dirty leeds » Mon Apr 08, 2019 2:12 pm

Only point of note from today's press conference is that Pablo is a doubt for the game and Roofe will play in his position, should he not make it.

Otherwise, it's down to Bamford to fucking get on with it and stick the thing into their net a couple of times. For fuck's sake, Leeds, we really need to shut the Waccoe Knickerwetters up for a day or two. And Tommy. :)

It sort of goes without saying but No Pablo would make this really really tough.

I dunno, the only possible positive is that it might make some of the other players take more responsibility

Guess which of the two words in your post my eye is drawn to.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

It usually works out that when Pablo has a bad game we lose.

Fuck!

So if he doesn’t play he can’t have a bad game then we can win  right?

I feel sick already, but on the plus side I’m not sure I’m going to be able to watch tomorrow.

I'll put it another way, without him we're usually fucked.

We have no creative players to change a game. Over to you, Young Jack.

Hooray for Harrison & Dallas.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship trip to Preston North End.

The Whites travel across the Pennines, looking to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat at Birmingham City.

A win could take Leeds back into the automatic promotion spots and Bielsa spoke about the importance of the final six games.

“The desire to be first or second is a very high motivation because it’s the aim and objective of one year of work,” said Bielsa.

“In the last part of the season, we want to solve this situation and our motivation is higher.

“In all of the games that are going to play from now until the end of the season, they have the same conditions- we have to win every game.

“Preston North End are a different team in the Championship, they play with a different style and the players that they are using to develop this style are different to normal players for this.”

Bielsa also gave an update on the status of midfielder Pablo Hernandez.

“Pablo received a hit in the last minute of the previous game.

“His evolution today is a positive evolution, but we are not going to take any risks.

“There are possibilities that Pablo cannot play the game, Kemar Roofe will go in his position if Pablo cannot play.”

Any data on the last game we played without him, trying to look for any possible positives...

I know there are essentially zero.

I've had a feeling we're not going to make the top two since QPR away but if we lose this one and Sheff Utd win at Brum (which of course they will) I reckon it's definitely the play-offs for us.

On Sky Sports Action again tonight. So those non-Sky types could nab a Now Tv week pass and get tonight and Saturdays game :thumbl:

Yes, they would be 4 points ahead with 5 to play (and a better goal difference) - they are not going to be caught. Tonight's game is huge.
