From Bielsa's presser today:
Bielsa on Daniel James: "So far I don't have any news about the transfer. I know that both clubs are negotiating. I agreed with the fact that he could come as Saiz is not in the club anymore and Pablo plays at number 10."
Hernandez is fit to play against Norwich. "He trained normally
Team for Saturday: Casilla, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Alioski, Forshaw, Harrison, Klich, Roberts, Hernandez, Roofe.
Bielsa on Norwich: "They're a team who attack very well, a team who are designed to attack. The profile of their team is a creative profile. We want to attack and we know we will have to defend a lot too."
Douglas will be in the squad, but no Izzy Brown. Still doesn't feel that he's ready for first-team games
Bielsa said Pukki is a player who will be "hard to neutralise" on Saturday. Rates Norwich very highly but said in terms of who will go up, no-one should discount any of the leading teams because they've all had ups and downs this season.
Bielsa saying that Dallas has a stress fracture in his foot. Needs complete rest for 10 days. Leeds expect him to be out for six weeks.

Bielsa speaking about English football and how he likes the fact that there is still an amateur streak to the way people think about it. Says the attitude here is: "I don't play football for money but I play football because I love football." #lu
Said that he thinks football is undergoing a major crisis and thinks the "economic prosperity" of the game is making good players more and more difficult to find/sign, which is why youth development is important
Bielsa asked by a German writer who is with us about his nickname 'El Loco', after years as a "successful coach". "I can't say I'm successful. I'd rather say the opposite. One of the things you hear the most when people talk about me is the lack of trophies. You can verify this.
"You can draw your own conclusions about this nickname, whether it's a positive or negative one. But I'm sure you think it's a positive one.

If ever there was a game where I’d have thought Kalvin was needed. Still, what do I know, eh?

Not starting players by no way means they're not 'needed'

Having a lot of good options on the bench these days is common sense...........We don't know his plan, but let's say after 60-65 mins it's 0-0 and we've just held our own whilst trying to knacker them out, having a game plan to go hell for leather for the last third of the game and changing/tinkering with your formation....a strong bench can help.

In God we trust..................................I fcking hope.

Take heart in the knowledge that Forshaw was really good in the Derby game, and if he turns to keek after 1/2 hour into Norwich he will be trailed off.

I take it that Clarke will be on the bench. Nice to see Roberts starting.

Those that are going, I hope you enjoy yourselves and we stuff it up their bollocks.

I'll be drinking heavily watching from behind the sofa.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Kalvin should be re-reinvented as a No 10.

A good number 10 needs good instant reaction passes, vision, speed of thought,Phillips could well be that man.

How many good games has Forshaw had this season? He's not a terrible player by any means, but Phillips is rested after his ban and for me brings more to the team.

I shall - all being well - be purchasing a car in Birmingham on Satdi afternoon so will be keeping up on R5.

LUFC - please do nothing which might cause me to crash the thing.

I take your point Eddie, but I think it will spur him on that KP is in the bench. He knows he can't have s poor one.

And he's able to score the odd screamer.

Don't worry Eric, you'll still be waiting for the jewels at the pawn shop.

That's a given WW.

Something tells me he's expecting them to come at us ala Derby so after such a wicked performance (best of season by the TEAM) he'd be daft not to.

" here you go lads, nowt to work on,same instructions as Derby,if they come with a different plan,it's up to me to solve it,so i've got my options on the bench, fcking crack on"

I'm presuming Shackleton-Douglas-Phillips-Clarke and who? James??? on the bench.

Fcking good options if so after scoring tother night V Brum......very much doubt it though knowing Loco.
