He's been a decent back up but nothing more.

a) Are you bollocks neutral
b) You have a curious definition of ‘hero worship’

Agree to disagree.

Who on here has posted something you'd describe has hero worship for Berardi? Most describe him as versatile, a decent alternative to have on the bench, who seems like a sound bloke and who always gives 100%, hardly any of us seem concerned that he hasn't agreed a new contract.

Agreed. Good Post J, and the added bonus in that he makes me smile.

Berardi has to be taken into account along with the football club, the division its in and the finance available.

He's good enough to play at this level and higher in the right scheme.

He clearly has a great attitude and is well liked in the dressing room.

The club realistically can't get much better than him for the money available.

But he's 31, and out of contract so I understand the clubs current position on him. I just wish they'd have taken similar positions on Cooper and Klich etc.

The nonsense about the play off game is well just nonsense.

Cooper, Casilla, PB all villains before GB.

Yeah wrong about him.

England youth player comes in after a season of poor performing left backs including berardi and then does well in poor team. I think he should be given a chance he's isn't and moves on a year later.

They never had a lot of money when he came to that club, he has giving them good service the whole time he's been there.

Yes he's a hot-head and made a few mistakes but so did Batty when he played for them.
All in all they've had value out of the small amount they paid for him.

Most of their fans will give him a good send-off when he leaves their club.

Better warm up to Bacardi as speculation mounting the Ben White may get recalled.
Hope Orta stilled Pontus's replacement lined up - Maybe that what Plug & Bamford were discusiing last weekend at the end of the game?

Talksport yesterday. "The Brighton CEO was just asked if they were going to be particularly active in the Jan transfer window and as part of his answer said something like 'we also look to see if our loan players could strengthen the squad, we have them out all over the country and in particular Ben White at Leeds is having a great season, so that's one option'"

If we lose him and Eddie in January it'll be a long and hard run-in to the end of the season.

Same as usual really.

Maybe we could start one of those Justgiving thingys and collect a few quid for our owner :thumbl:

Kiko on shakey ground maybe? no clue what went there or his chances over defending the charge?.
Cannot see Yids paying 10M for White to occasionally warm are bench.
Some one will make a cheeky punt for KP.
Could be trouble at mill in Janaury.

to be honest i could easily see brighton wanting him back - they're perilously close to the bottom three, relegation costs you £50m plus, why not bring a guy like White back, even if as third or even fourth choice CB, i doubt it'd cost them very much at all?
