I'm coming around to the idea that nobody cares, and even pointing this kind of sleaze out gets a yawning response from folks who are just tired of it all and want to watch TV. Similar phenomenon around coronavirus incompetence.

We get what we collectively deserve, and that appears to be venal banana republic corruption, disaster capitalism around a brexit paid for by about ten individuals who stand to make colossal sums out of it, and grubby backyard eugenics. Nation's fucked.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

On a slightly positive note, at least the Security committee chair won't be Grayling now, so the whips don't get their man installed.

I get that China's behaviour in HK and against the Uighurs has been despicable and action is necessary, but fuck me, pissing them off on top of Brexit and Covid is going to make for a super fun 2021 economically, innit?

There is no evidence of Russian interference in the referendum, because no one looked for it, or was asked so to do.

Fuck me. And they call this a ‘government’?

Absolutely astonishing stuff coming out.
A parliamentary committee openly calling a prime minister a liar.
Russians all over Londongrad financing every dodgy fucker.
Mirrors and copulation are abominable, since they both multiply the numbers of men.

Quite right Eric. China has cynically upped the ante on so many fronts mid Covid: Let’s also include South China Sea territory gambits, India & Arctic border agitations and especially Belt & Road initiative widening (which helped coerce 53 nations into supporting those HK crackdowns at the HRC - oh and don’t forget StanChart & HSBC pinning their colours up).

Unless somehow the US, EU, AsiaPac et al find a way to cooperate, adopt a unified set of financial, trade and other penalties that bite sufficiently hard for Xi to rethink, or ideally lose sufficient face to be quietly ousted by his Party - then life in the near future could well take an ominous turn - Most Ballers grew up at the back end of the Cold War and recall enough to dread the though of similar recurring for our children.

i’m not hopeful. There’s cronyism and self interest muddying the processes of International Agencies, Political parties, multinationals and banks. But at least the UK is doing the right thing here, even though it’ll hurt.

Credit where it's due, this would be a good initiative and perhaps a sign of self-awareness from the fat cunt.
