Hearing rumours of Sol Campbell. Would go some way to explaining why he suddenly left Macclesfield, which struck me as very odd. I really don’t know what to make of Campbell; he’s clearly mad as a box of frogs and but performed a minor miracle in keeping Macclesfield up last season. Would be a very brave move by Huddersfield, though. Could backfire spectacularly.

Hudds look an undisciplined mess. Was hoping they kept hold of him.

Someone like Hughton would do a very good job there, lots of big physical players that he would organise. Hopefully they go for a strange one and completely fuck up.

Could have done with the DBs hanging onto him for a few weeks, they still have some good players and could yet prove to be promotion rivals.

Having seen a bit of most teams I am already fairly confident that we’re the best team in the league. We should win it but of course we won’t because Leeds. I’ll be massively surprised if we don’t make it to the play-offs again though.

Yeah, BGS certainly deserves another shot somewhere.

I wonder if Nathan Jones will survive until this weekend...

Monk in at the Wendies. Don’t like it, bastard seems too good at taking points off us.

6-0 down at home having not lost a home game in ages, could be his shortest stint yet, the 92 is still on!

Doesn’t start until after today’s game. Perhaps he can be the first manager ever to be sacked before he’s started?!

He could do a job there, which would be unfortunate.

Did well at Burton & Brum without money.

Nathan Jones finally binned by Stoke despite getting two wins in the last four, against Swansea and Fulham. Did us a big favour there.

Poor Nathan Jones, he's been gone too long.

Just seen a suggestion of Alex Neill swapping Preston for Stoke, that'd be useful you'd think, blunt Preston a little bit.
