Our experience with Colin and Humpty, guys almost-fresh off the back of automatic promotion (and who'd go on to win it again a few years later in Colin's case) showed us that. It's been 20+ years since fat Sam had to make do with the kind of resources he'd have here, it's a dead cert that he couldn't be bothered with it as a 60-odd year old egomaniac multi millionaire. Even if we somehow managed to tempt him (e.g. by offering him something absurd like £10m or a small stake in the club if he somehow got us up) I very much doubt he'd be any good.

Exactly. Does anybody on here seriously believe it's at all possible? Fuck sake.

Well in fairness I'm sure the guy would work anywhere if the price was right, literally anywhere.

Will all you fucking fucktards wittering on about Fat Sham please take a minute to visit his Wiki page and note:

1. He just isn't very good. Disregarding outliers, his managerial win percentage is very low forties at best.

2. He's bent as fuck. It doesn't matter where he was working or how much he was being paid, he was still always looking for a backhander. After he was publicly accused of being bent he threatened to sue for libel and then didn't because it would be 'too expensive'. Funny, that.

He'd bang into a bit of shape what he could out of this shower of shyte Orta's bought.

That's if he banged some of his own hard (stolen) earned into the club and was given 50% ownership, then got rid of 15 deadwood, fck me i'm sure a few years back we used to be bigger than Bolton,Palace,West Ham,Everton,Sunderland..............fck me how we've fallen.

He would also need to follow my expert advice when picking the team and start by wielding the axe like this..

Keep these...BPF...Ayling...Jansson...Shaughnessy...Forshaw...Herny...Saiz...Vieira...Roberts.

Sack the rest...apart from the upcoming promising youngsters and tell Saiz he's fcking sacked if he throws his arms up in the air just once, petulant fcker.

Mick McC making eyes at Stoke, thank fuck.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Its looking more and more like The Heck, Orta & Radz will be here to oversee our coming season and beyond. The incompetent three.

Can't remember ever feeling so negative about our prospects.
Mid-table at best.

My main problem is I feel the club will be ok with that.

Oh no, no, NO!!! - I am 4 square behind your comments - other than we won’t be mid table, we’ll get relegated.

Agree to disagree, AB.

I don't think we'll go down, we've some good youngsters coming through that should have enough fight to avoid the drop.

I agree, there's little to no chance we'll go down. Standards are dire in and around the bottom three... ffs, Luke Murphy was by all accounts one of Burton's better players this year, which says it all.

When we went down last time it was because Bates was seriously slashing the wage bill and we ended up with effluent like kandol & Matt heath as near automatic picks.

We probably won't go down, no.
But knowing there's close to fuck all chance we'll go up renders my enthusiasm for season 18/19 roughly the same as I had for yesterday's nuptials. As Moscow and assorted Twits have raised, the Championship is to Financial Fair Play as Bishop Michael Curry is to the Church of England: a different world.
I like it. What is it?

Eric's favourite Graham Potter being lined up for Swansea. We will see how he copes.

Decent move that, I reckon. Swansea will presumably still have the barebones of a decent squad and obviously a few quid to spend. He'll likely do well there and that'll be his foot in the door of British football.

Hopefully he won't stop us going for Bartley (or McBurnie if there's any interest there remaining).
