Guess those emails can wait then...

Just had a random 9% pay rise.

Looking for the catch. Not found it yet. It'll be there, shirley...
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

A pint, you say? Well, that's very kind. I'll have a Ruby Scrotum and a bag of nuts, please. Any order you like.

Dodged the bullet that would have been working the Hyde Park fan zone tomorrow night.

There will be no end to the problems afflicting mankind until economists become rulers, or, by some miracle, rulers become economists.

Played in a dads' football tourney at my son's school tonight.

I scored the most diabolical goal ever to decide a match (well, I say decide, pull it back from 1-2 to 2-2).

Open play, one of my teamies shaping up to shoot towards the very end of a very low quality encounter.

I basically try to smooth his path to goal by taking out one of the defenders (like you sometimes see at a corner or, especially, direct free kick but this was open play), just basically pushing someone out of the way. No refs obviously because shitfest.

Guy shoots, it hits me in the thigh as I'm taking out this unfortunate opponent.

Trickles really apologetically into the corner, after about five bounces.

Still, they all count.

Clean your boots, you're playing up front against Stoke :thumbl:

That'd be a very leeds selection, tbf. Pick someone who'd done a job at a certain level. Next game we got smashed, largely because they had a guy who'd played some decent Saturday football within the last five years. Too hot to handle.

Thought that headline pic was a lovely compound fracture till I realised his shoe had come off.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this given the struggles for sufferers and families but I think this is great.

If they could switch the sound down at the fucking checkouts all the time, I really would be a happy (middle-aged) man.

Is there any chance the customers could all shut the fuck up too? And leave the store, preferably?

I don't even want to talk to the delivery guy... Just leave it by the step and ring the bell, there's a good lad...

Yeah, fair cop. Theres no way I can meaningfully claim to be working class any more, the wife would argue if ever (she wins in the child poverty stakes).

Two graduations in two days, Leeds and London. Bit of a manic trip one way and another but for the girls to share being part of each other’s graduations a day apart was completely brilliant.

I are happy.
