Yeah, it will be. Two thoughts I have: a) the security bull just went up and b) I’ve a hunch some lowly graphic designer is wishing s/he hadn’t proposed a simplified graphic, merely for aesthetic.
I like it. What is it?

This focus on the football thing is really working out of FIFA isn't it?jackos wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 6:00 amIran demanding the USA team be thrown out of the WC and banned for ten games after they removed the Islamic Republic emblem from the Iranian flag in social media posts as a sign of solidarity with protests.
Be an interesting match that one, especially with the Iranian team also showing support for protests

Mirrors and copulation are abominable, since they both multiply the numbers of men.

I'm sure this can't be right. After all everyone knows that Fulham are the very nicest of all the very nice teams in football, and I just can't believe they'd employ a straight-up fascist.

Nah
Very deliberate use of the old Iran flag with a different lion symbol, which is being used by anti-regime protesters worldwide.

[social ]media chat is that bellingham is going to be rested/dropped for henderson.
it's a strange one since JB looked so outstanding vs eyeran & so terrible vs the great satan.
bias aside, i wonder whether giving KP an hour to test/build his fitness not be the worst idea in the world - it's only wales, after all, topping the group seems relatively unimportant, and only a pasting will prevent qualification?

Re: Qatar 2022 kill the slave labour World Cup
The topping the group thing is relevant. Looking ahead to the next round, short of muscle memory associated with previous Dutch excellence I don’t see a lot of difference between the 3 prospective opponents from Group A. Fast forward to the quarters and there is a very real possibility that the Group B winners path leads them to the victor of a France v Argentina Round of 16 tie, whereas the runner-ups path may be the winner of Oz v Poland.the flying pig wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 2:13 pm[social ]media chat is that bellingham is going to be rested/dropped for henderson.

All comes down to personal philosophy as to whether you prefer to take a rival out early doors or to follow the path of least resistance.

Path of least resistance IMO if you make the final its a one off game that could be your day. get as far as possible as easily as possible gather momentum.MightyWhite wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 2:27 pm

i'm always in favour of path of least resistance generally.
england's knockout stages record against the BIG DOGS, i.e. former holders, is fairly dire.
england's knockout stages record against those teams who've never won it before is very creditable.
best imo to hope that someone else can knock out yer spains and whatnots.

Tyler Adams sounds far too pleasant and intelligent to play for Leeds let alone one of the colonies https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/1 ... -every-day

Farcical penalty against Uruguay. Terrible decision.
