Agree it's a lovely idea but the only game he's not been subbed on this season was when they played us, seems Klopp still has a use for him.

And we couldn't get him until Jan anyway.

It feels really good, warming, for the club to have behaviour that matches espoused values, and for these values to be so honourable. This is really good and I hope he gets a coaching role after his playing days are out.

Very happy about this. More class from the club. Berardi is a good guy and it’s absolutely the right thing for us to do as a club.

I still think that he has the best shooting ability of any player at the club - especially as it's so unexpected. We need Beradi to counter-balance the current media love-in for Leeds, which makes me uncomfortable.

Not bothered, he won't be on much compared to the rest of the squad now we're in the EPL. Surprised he hasn't fucked off to Italy with his millions, but I suppose the medical staff will look after him at ER and he has a bigger chance of getting a contract next season if he gets fit with us.

His ms is Italian and he moved to Lombardy when he was a teen. Pretty certain it was assumed he'd finish his career there after he left Leeds. I'm still surprised he decided to do his rehab in Wetherby, I know I wouldnt have stayed in England right now if I had his money, but I guess it's easier if a club looks after you after a long career. Id have packed my bag and found a beach in Italy or a Swiss lake to live next to while I took my coaching badges.

I responded don’t be fucking daft, why would we more than double his salary when he’s 32 and had hardly played all season. It snowballed from there. He’s been given a year, and I doubt he’s earning any more than he was last season, probably less.
