They made so many millions that they wouldn't pay for a decent plane, or pilot, they wouldnt pay the transfer fee, and they are still appealing the courts verdict. And all along the Salas family have lost a son. Rolling in it. Fucking scum!
Apologies, I didn't realise you had a point.
Any of that (other than his death) actually, provably true? Or just a narrative you hope is true to suit your and the boards opinion.?
Well, it's fact that they're refusing to pay the fee and it seems to be the official view now that he was already a Cardiff player at the time of his death. It's fact they were already trying to get out of it before the funeral.
Fuck knows who was ultimately behind the choice of plane/pilot but it's pretty fucking clear he should never have been put in that situation. I'd say there's a level of collective responsibility between the agent, Cardiff and Nantes (probably to a lesser extent, not sure it'd be normal for a selling club to make travel arrangements but Cardiff keep saying it was them who hired McKay).
Someone failed Sala badly and others allowed it to happen, so many red flags it's well beyond unfortunate - unlicensed plane, unlicenced pilot (for passenger charter), bad weather, dark.
