I've seen the clubs facebook interview with our new striker, he's a sensible well spoken person.
He wants to work hard and working with Bielsa tipped the scales on him chosing his loan spell with us above quite a few other clubs, could be a good player for us :thumbl:

He gave out the usual one-liners that every new player gives 'Big club' 'Should be in the Premiership' 'Great fans' blah blah fucking blah, But he sounded as if he's genuine and happy to be here.

It will keep Bammers on his toes if he want to hold onto the shirt.

Errr...

Professional translators do that as a matter of course.
It's no good if the translator understands the context and sentiment but can't express it.
Bielsa is not easy to translate, because he thinks about every word and his language is very precise. It's not a job for an amateur. It takes minimum two years to train a translator, it's not just a question of speaking the language. You have to learn to effectively split your brain in two.
I'm baffled why they don't employ somebody decent.

I get this but Corberan has such a strong accent and such poor diction that it’s difficult to even hear what he’s saying half the time.

I'd be quite happy for the pre-match press conference to be completely incomprehensible, rather than advertising the team and the tactics in advance.

What we really need is the Lee Chapman "my helicopter is full of sand" style of translation.

There's some merit in that.
It did cross my mind that they think it's in their interests to have incomprehensible pressers.

Having watched a lot of the pressers since MB arrived I think he could probably do them himself in English, he certainly listens to the translator speaking in English to the press as he throws in the odd correction.
Maybe he feels that things would be lost between what he is saying and what they hear. Or maybe he likes the separation and possible misinterpretation and doesn't want to talk directly to the press?
Because a thing seems difficult for you, do not think it impossible for anyone to accomplish.

I do hope one day Bielsa will be able hold an interview like Steve Mclaren is capable of

I just wish Bielsa had been born just across the Argie border in Patagonia, he'd be speaking Welsh so his interviews would be a doddle for me to understand.

My wife’s gone to the south coast.

In Dorset?

Yes, she’d thoroughly recommend it.

‘Musta’s band went on tour to South East Asia’

‘Singapore?’

‘Yes, and the bassist’s rubbish too’
The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it.

The transfer window really should close at the same time for everyone, Ryan Kent is apparently available for £5m now. No doubt he'll leave Liverpool before the end of the window across Europe.
