yep, it's two, if maybe not career threatening, fairly nasty injuries he's had, ankle this time last yr & then kee towards the back end of the same year, definitely some lingering problems, hopefully the sort of thing that'll get better with time/maye after a close season rest... but, yeah, if he feels he can't accelerate, or change direction, or stretch a leg out to tackle, maybe wrap his leg round the ball, or whatever as reliably as before then potentially many aspects of his game can go to pot, inclyding even his decision making.
bielsa's preference for very attacking full backs doesn't really help either, last night he definitely looked at his best when playing, de facto, on the right of a central back three.
