As I was looking at this I noticed that his middle name is Roger, I don't know why, but it made me smile!

Rowett gone? Can't locate a confirmation at the moment.

Sky reporting it now. Big Sam or Moyes lined up...

didn't birmingham and derby get rid because rowett's footballing style was mundane and the fans weren't happy?

i've heard sam allardyce cohosting with alan brazil on talksport recently and i'm an open minded type, but fuck me, he's a dull uninspiring man. i really can't quite work out how he was so successful. compare and contrast to harry redknapp's charm :P and it just doesn't make sense.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Apparently they've been after him so long when they started he was thought of as good.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Big Sam is available and, from a qualifications perspective, I believe he’d fuck a dog. Especially after a pint of wine.

Match made in heaven.

Sounds like he decided he'd had enough of living in the shadow of Bielsa. Can't be fun managing a PL club then realising no-one aside from the 5000 faithful give a fuck.
