Bielsaball vs Pulisball CK

Postby Tycipa » Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:19 am

A clash of styles tonight but who will prevail?
I’ve a feeling they’ll put a man on both KP and SS so hopefully we can do them down the sides.
PJ should be in for a busy night in our box but don’t expect him to trouble them in theirs on corners.
A perfect night would be a pen against Ayala and a win.

Come on LEEDS.
The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it.

12/1 for Pontus and Ayala to both get booked tonight. Having a bit of that.

Pontus is on the bench tonight, according to that Linus fellah on Waccoe [who is his mate or relative, I believe?]

our being at full strength makes this a far from hopeless task imo, but i still can't say i expect to get anything much out of it.

a win & i would definitely start to believe that something might be possible this season, & this way madness surely lies.

Sadly I sense a defeat, just seems a game too far with burn out. Why El Loco brought on Saiz on Tuesday left me bewildered really with tonight looming. Hope I’m wrong and we somehow nick a win...

Burn out? It's 31st of August.

There is no issue with burn-out, ffs. They all just had a week without a game, bar three players. And it looks like one of them may not be starting anyway.

I'll be content with a 0-0 draw, based soley on it should prove we can cope with the rough and tumble Pulis type teams.
I'll see that as progress.

Fuck, we're a negative bunch! I firmly believe this is a game we can win but I don't expect we'll do it convincingly, it'll also be a battle throughout and the first goal very important. I'm really looking forward to it.

I haven’t looked so forward to a match in God knows how long.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

I also had a bad feeling about Stoke, Berby, Swansea, Rotherham, and Norwich.
Leeds United is ruining my life.

I've been looking forward to it since we lost in the cup.
Hence I'm happy not to lose tonight. Pulis is an old dog, big test for Bielsa.
Negative - no. Nervous - yes.

A win would make my Friday night out extra messy
