The scoring is simply cut and pasted from Perseus's instructions from last season. And you say "mod"...

how the fuck did i get a point for saturday's game? i was about as wrong as it's possible to be, guessing neither the winner nor the scoreline for either side.

That's a point for predicting their one goal.
I'm a very generous soul with the scoring system as the old method, before my stewardship,......well the table used to read 0 points for just about everybody 3 months in to the season.
