Don't have a cellar.

Have you ever felt the wrath of teenage kids with the unnerving ability to send you from 0 - 10 in split seconds? Some round here fear their wives, not me.

Busy working on the settings for my dual band router to grab back my share of the 5g band from their gaming machines.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Only got back from Spain at 01:30, do I really need to go back out there again tonight for the match?

You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Well I've got 3 and I reckon you've smashed the advice element there.

I use Unlimited VPN for Kodi. It's OK, but IPVanish and Nord are supposed to be the better ones. These days a VPN is generally a good idea whatever you are doing online

Sorry to be such a dullard here, but how do you set up your Kodi to go through the VPN? I'm just using Hola at the mo'. But all I do to use Kodi is open the fucker and it launches. Doesn't seem an obvious place to change the settings.

I can do both, but mostly on my MacBook.

So before you fire up Safari switch on the VPN and choose an overseas location. Your browsing location is then say USA and then you fire up LUTV through Safari. Hey presto, LUTV thinks you're a Yank and will give you your overseas stream - or so I'm told by someone who says he does this now and again....
It won't work on the TV direct unless your router is also VPN'd or DNS'ed but that's a whole other ballgame. If you're using your MacBook to connect to the TV then depending on how you connect them may or may not work.

We are talking at cross purposes, mate. I'm OK with the VPN to watch LUTV. I can do that OK; I use Chrome and do just as you describe.
I'm just on about setting Kodi to run through the VPN. How do you do that?

Yes, just have it running and whatever you use tunnels through the private network to the location selected.

Game not streamed tonight? Thought it was just the ones picked for TV not streamed.

Sportsmania via Kodi is showing streams. Think the LUTV streams are league games only.

are there any VPN's that are free in the long term or are they all free trials to be followed by having to sign up?

i got zenmate working (thanks tommy) but now it wants money and i don't want to give it money.

You can just not give money and it keeps working. You don't need the Premium features.

Incidentally, I realised during the last match that you only have to have it on when you are paying for the match. After that you can turn it off and it runs a lot smoother.
