i'm more narked about dropping klich and gelhardt. even though pascal was excellent at left back we need to give firpo a chance to show what he can do. personally i don't think he's been that bad.

klich and gelhardt would make us more solid defensively and better at keeping the ball. brighton like to keep possession and that team aren't going to be as good at getting it back or holding on to it when we have it.

Not sure that Firpo deserves as much criticism as he's getting, as he's hardly had chance to settle in. As I recall Alioski gave away penalties in both the Spurs and Brighton away games last season to give the home team the first goal.

agree about alioski. and gjianni no longer looked quick enough for a premier league full back. firpo's heritage means he suffers from inflated expectations. if we'd signed him from getafe i don't think he'd have received so much criticism.

doesn't trossard drop into more of a midfield role, hence the lack of 3 at the back? he's a bloody good player though.
