I get the feeling he needs a couple of steadier games where he takes less risks to get back into the groove. At the moment he's just not on the same wavelength as the rest of the team

yep, it's two, if maybe not career threatening, fairly nasty injuries he's had, ankle this time last yr & then kee towards the back end of the same year, definitely some lingering problems, hopefully the sort of thing that'll get better with time/maye after a close season rest... but, yeah, if he feels he can't accelerate, or change direction, or stretch a leg out to tackle, maybe wrap his leg round the ball, or whatever as reliably as before then potentially many aspects of his game can go to pot, inclyding even his decision making.

bielsa's preference for very attacking full backs doesn't really help either, last night he definitely looked at his best when playing, de facto, on the right of a central back three.

Yeah, seems to be making Harrison play well almost every game, which wasn't my memory of him earlier this season...

harrison did do pretty well. not what you'd call a huge dangerman but definitely bringing somethign to the, uh, piece in an attacking sense.

I thought McBurnie looked annoyingly effective. Again.

Patrick Bamford needs to find his accuracy again, sharpish. Two sitters in two matches now. Being handsome is not enough. As Welshwhite will confirm.

Looks about right to me. 4 teams with a realistic chance.

And the fact he throws in a Cruyff turn occasionally (last night on the right wing!) just adds to the effect.

Fuckin hell!
It's a Zidane turn, not a Cruyff turn you ignorant bastuds.

You mean "the roulette"?

One of the best was in the world cup in 06 where he took the piss against Brazil.

One of the great individual performances.

Ah yes but this is Leeds United Theorem. A perceived good position in the league or in a match is false hope and disaster is never far away. Admittedly this season is really putting that theory to the test but it could make the disaster more dramatic then ever before.
