Just semi-watching the U23s against Hull at Thorpe Arch, online.
Edmondson was injured, limped around for five mins trying to run it off, gets called off... and then scores a goal before he leaves the pitch, courtesy a Jack Clarke cross. Good lad.
Douglas, Baker and Roberts playing. Gotts looking good again.

Won 2-1. Harrison put us two up and then Hull got one back after 88 mins. Didn't see second half.

Causes pen.
Concedes two more.
Breaks leg, 5 minutes from full time.

Safe to say our keeper situation just got worse...

Hope he’s not too badly hurt, but Blackman doesn’t appear to be the BPF solution...

Brown on his way back though...

Leeds United Under-23s suffered their second successive defeat after a disappointing 3-0 reverse against Birmingham City.

A first-half penalty from Craig Gardner put the Blues ahead at the break before Omar Bogle’s brace after the interval sealed a deserved win.

Leeds picked up another injury concern as Jamal Blackman was taken off on a stretcher with ten minutes remaining after colliding with a Birmingham City Beryly Lubala.

The one shining light for the Whites was the return of Izzy Brown, who lasted 45 minutes on his return from a long-term knee injury.

This latest defeat sees Leeds fail to reclaim top spot in the Professional Development League 2 following last week's 3-1 reverse at Crewe.

No vid available today, one assumes because there was a late change of venue. Anyway, it's 3-1 Leeds with a couple of mins left. Roberts 2 [1 pen] and Kun 1.

Penalty? Surely some kind of mistake.

bamford looking very good, bright movement, strong hold up play and a very tidy dink finish over tom heaton for the goal, though has also looked a tad rusty getting the ball stuck under his feet twice when in good positions. brown looking alright, he's trying to be positive and is physically strong. losing at half time to two goals where we just didn't get any challenges in, balls played in from the right and tapped in.

Won 6-3. Bamford hat trick. Brown also scored. Second half transformed by Jack Clark on for Harrison. He tore them to bits down the left. Bamford also hit the post when clean through. Very impressive attacking performance. A little slack defensively.

So itkennyb... I guess Heaton’s the six-goal solution to our ills, then?
