Does anyone know what the hold-up was regarding this, loose rumors were about Rennes wanting to announce a signing of their own.

I think they needed to wait for the fryer to get up to temp. Nobody likes anaemic chips.

Looked good in his last match with Rennes..clever goal, just missed with a scissor kick, his corner set up second goal and nicely taken fk over the bar.

I like that Buendia bloke. If Marcelo can teach him to behave and work hard, he could be the man. Wouldn't want to overpay Norwich, though. They be cunts.

They may be worried about the financial implications of Covid. Yes, I would like to take one of their better players for an unreasonably low fee.

Bogusz out on season long loan to Logroño.
Good move for him.
Mirrors and copulation are abominable, since they both multiply the numbers of men.

Be happy to get Buendia for fuck all, then lob him in the U23s, just to piss Naaardge off.

Didn’t someone say we’d spend £100m? We’re somewhere round £90m at the mo, so a bit left for a championship midfielder and a senior (ie older) keeper, in the twilight of his career?

Ain’t gonna happen, is it?

Why? (I know nothing of the standard, the club, their playing style, etc. )

If he was any good and/or nearly good enough wouldn’t Corberan be banging down our door?

More or less at £100m already:

Costa £15m
Meslier £5m
Koch £13m
Rodrigo £27m
Llorente £17m
Raphinha £18m
Assorted U23 players £5-10m

Looking at that, you'd be happy adding that list to your squad following promotion on FIFA.

Straying into the wrong thread but... It'll be fine so long as no-one tells Ponte:

Koch: 76 (84)
Rodrigo: 82 (82)
Llorente: 76 (79)
Raphinha: 81 (85)
Summerville: 68 (83)
Gelhardt: 61 (81)
Drameh: 61 (81)
