This is a an old story that was reported in Norway mid December, at the time Bohinen was in Sheffield with Sheff Utd, assume Stabæk are looking to sell and the blades didn't bite. YP reported that he Sheffield were interested '

Sheffield United want to sign Norwegian midfielder Emil Bohinen from Stabaek. The 20-year-old - who is the son of former Nottingham Forest, Derby and Blackburn midfielder Lars Bohinen - has also held talks with Leeds United. (Teamtalk)

We only need one player, and that player is Connor Wickham.

If we get him, we go up.

hope he's improved since the last time he was here. when he was younger he was slow and cumbersome like a lasogga but without the skill.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Congratulations, but shouldn't this be in the SFW thread rather than transfers?

I only recently realised that Andre Gray and Demarai Gray are different players. I vaguely remember the former being okay a few years ago but I’m not sure he’s quite the slam dunk that Che Adams would have been. Probably a decent enough jobbing forward at this level but not that much of an improvement on Bamford. Perhaps it will spur them both on though?

on driving home just now i considered how we'd be perceived if we had a striker, and team, who scored. it'd be like people are talking about liverpool just now. we're potentially one player, or a handful of shooting boots away from similar acclaim.

I’ve perceived him as a bit of a nothing player, someone I’ve not really noticed. However looking at his history; a £10m and a £20m move to Prem teams in recent years, 23 goals last time he graced the Championship, scored some goals in the Prem. If his attitude is right I could be persuaded that this is a good signing.

Would like us to go get Adams as well though if I’m honest. Because why the fuck not?

Just took a look at his goalscoring ratio, he could be good for us considering the chances he would get.

One good player is better than two average ones.

Bamford was Championship Player of the Season in 2014-15 and Gray’s best season was 2015-16. Comparatively I feel like Adams was among the best players in the league as recently as last season. I get that it’s a complicated situation given what’s occurring at Southampton but I wonder if it’s worth waiting it out rather than spending another small fortune on a player who might not be up to it?

This. And Robbie Keane and Seth Johnson. Back then it made no sense but with our new PSG overlords why indeed why not indeed?
The only thing we knew for sure about Henry Porter was that his name wasn't Henry Porter.

I think Adams could be a better bet but Gray should be good enough. Unless there's an overwhelming quality difference I'd favour having someone in now than in a week when the games are every 3 days for a month, match fitness being important though, they have to be able to learn the basics very quickly, not spend weeks getting up to fitness.

I'd be greedy and unrealistic - both of them . One - just in case one isn't up to it , and two - injuries or potential injuries . Don't like the idea of untested youngsters/foreign imports ( ie Sweden etc ) ,potentially good for the future , Orta's been down this route a couple of years ago and pretty much none of them made the grade and have all been moved on . Obviously Bogusz and Roberts still at the club but remain by and large untried , more so Bogusz and they probably are potentially very good BUT its not helping NOW ....Roberts still injured ?
Incidentally ...yesterday Talksport was talking about its best 5 championship players ......Phillips had a good mention , they said he'd get in Man City side right now , that's how highly they rate him ( of course Yeboah knows more than them :D :D :D :D :D ) , Sawyer of WBA had a good mention , White not included though they said good - as he's a loan player . Also ............ said Pontus would get in almost any Premier league side right now ( odd he didn't though and no one came in for him ) . Didn't catch theothers though I think Mitrovic might have been one .

Do we have a motherfucking striker yet?
"The supporters, the only thing to them is that they love their club.
The only thing the receive in exchange is emotions.
For this reason, the supporter is the best thing in football." - Marcelo Bielsa
