I had a line manager who used to insist on doing my appraisal feedback in the Wellington. 2 pints of some orange-coloured, sediment-heavy still cider later, my only concern was not being sick. I'm probably just too young to appreciate its charms :dj:

There is always the pint shop next door for more hipster friendly keg ales lol

I also enjoy Tilt and the post office vaults on my trips to Birmingham

I'm going to our final home game of the season (Villa) 15.00pm 27th April.

Anyone know if this date/time will be changed for Sky/other reasons yet?

Only 7000 villa tickets available so season ticket holders can't buy extra and members can get one each. Suppose fair really. Means I won't get one.

Yeah sounds fair all things considered. If anyone happens to get one they don't need, then I'll happily purchase.

From OS

Changes to sale process for in demand fixture.

In response to feedback from supporters and due to the significant demand for home tickets that the club is currently experiencing, we have changed the sales process for our final home league game of the season against Aston Villa to make tickets accessible to more Members.

2018/19 Members will each be able to purchase one ticket per Membership and Season Ticket Holders will be unable to buy additional tickets for the fixture.

This decision has been made in an effort to ensure paying Members have a greater chance of getting hold of a ticket for the game – we currently have around 26,000 Members and there are just 7,000 general admission tickets available to purchase, therefore reducing the amount of tickets each Member can purchase opens up the opportunity for more paying Members to be able to attend the game.

Whilst we appreciate this decision may be unpopular with some, we believe that this is a fairer way of operating for this fixture, especially given the recent rise in tickets appearing on resale websites.

The tickets will go on sale to Platinum and Gold members at 9am online, via the LUFC call centre on 0371 334 1992 or in person at the West Stand Ticket Office on Monday 8th April and in the unlikely event that tickets are remaining we will look to release those to Silver Members at a date to be confirmed.

There will be no postal applications available for this game.
Because a thing seems difficult for you, do not think it impossible for anyone to accomplish.

It’ll be Saturday evening or Sunday lunchtime. Sky has Premier League games already assigned to all the other slots - including Friday night.

Just in case anyone was thinking of rolling up to the blues game, I've just logged on and they won't sell you a ticket online without a previous booking history. I don't know whether they'll enforce that at the ticket office on match day- it's only an hour trip for me so I'm chancing it but just a heads up if anyone's coming further without a guaranteed ticket

I'm fairly sure the last game of the season is always an early KO on the Sunday.

Stands to reason at that point in the season, playing last of the contenders that weekend, we go into the game either knowing a win puts us up/all but puts us up OR we’re behind Sheff Utd and we must win to stay in touch/keep it in our own hands.

Sky aren’t daft.
