Thanks gents for your wishes, unfortunately the drugs have worn off and I’m no longer in that blissed out phase. For those of you that are interested I had a TURP, the one eyed snake gets a blinding!!!

And have you got a link to the video?

Actually, it sounds awful: "it is performed by visualising the prostate through the urethra and removing tissue by electrocautery or sharp dissection... "

NHS are bloody brilliant when it’s this seamless...been feeling a bit ropey these past two days and I’ve been pissing claret!
6pm ring the local GP surgery, they’re closed, hang on for someone, tell them what the issue is and they said a clinician will ring me back in the next two hours. 15 minutes later I get a call and an appointment is made to see the emergency doctor at 7.30. At 8pm I’m taking my first dose of antibiotics.
Three fucking cheers for the NHS.

So finally, after a couple of years of pain steadily getting worse, I've got a doctors appointment to check out my knees (in a fortnight, earliest appointment!). Really hurts to kneel down, can't crouch for more than a couple of mins, crossing legs is painful too. If I start to jog, say to cross the road before being knocked over, the first impact send the same shooting pain up my leg. Left leg is worse than the right, but that's getting there. Fudge knows what it is, but hoping the quack will send me off for an x-ray, perhaps.

What was the cure?

Was it that young lass in your office? Did you have to transfuse her whole blood volume, or was a jump enough?
