Went to see the specialist team yesterday and got some good/bad news. The good is that the growth they found is not a tumour, it is a bone growth on my spine which they said the first team were right to question as a tumour for further investigation. The bad is I have non reversible degenerative disc disease, they wont operate because the chances are it could hasten me being unable to walk.

I was hoping they'd row back on it Dale, great news (relatively). So much better than it could've been.

Your days marauding up the wing sound numbered though, mate. Get that blue badge in if you didn't already!

Already got a blue badge mate, you get one when on dialysis, it's surprising how annoying it gets when people use them that don't need to. :rambo:

You're just like an old door Dale, still on its hinges but creaks a lot. I like your good news though. When you get to our age stuff just stops working or fails to respond, fuck old age.
The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it.

Yeah, but what about me? I keep getting annoying calf muscle tears if I go out running too far these days. I won't get a blue badge for that, will I? And I'm going to have to start doing calf strengthening exercises to eradicate the problem. Grrr.

They'll be sick of the sight of you at the hospital won't they?
I hope it's not too much of a bastard. I'm sure LUFC's continued dominance will provide just the tonic. :salute:
