Smashing the ball in from all distance and angles.

Yeah, yeah, this goal-scoring is all very well but can he hold the ball up?

Joking [or not] aside, it was fairly clear from his brief U23 showings that putting the ball in the net wouldn't likely be his problem, but his weight/fitness and then his knowledge of how to work in a Bielsa system both needed plenty of attention. He certainly looks to have shed the required poundage, so now we need to find out if he's either learned [or at least has shown the capacity to learn] the Bielsa way. Really looking forward to his first sub appearances. Could mark the arrival of our real Premier League striker.

Isn't it nice to be talking about football (a bit).

Cummings is a big football fan but I'm not really sure he should be driving any long distances to look for a new bigger telly so he can watch the games on the box.

Discuss.

I see that the Head of the UK football police unit, is the Deputy Chief Constable of South Yorkshire - the same force that has insisted all Leeds matches played in South Yorkshire since forever have to kick off at midday. I'm not sure he's the guy to decide on venues for matches.

So possibly 21 days to go until we see Leeds in action. 1 winning game a day to watch to get me in the mood.

Watched 3-1 win away at Brizzle last night.
Ben White looked so comfortable after 5 mins you'd think he'd played at this level since birth.
Wigan tonight.

Are you watching the full 90 mins or the highlights?

Full 90 of each win, although did skim through the Forest game. God we should have had 5.
Also noticed how wasteful JH was and how much ball Forshaw has.

The Championship

Can’t remember if I saw this on here and/or social media but did people express mock surprise that clubs in or around the relegation zone were reporting positive Coronavirus tests? Does this in turn suggest potential foul play? If so, is the working theory that -

1. They were lying about the positive tests (and there is no real follow-up from the football authorities?).
2. They were genuine positive tests and certain players/staff somehow deliberately contracted Coronavirus from somewhere?
3. They somehow obtained positive Coronavirus samples and submitted them as the tests of players/staff.
4. There were many more positive tests but only certain clubs are reporting them.

Let’s see which clubs it is first. If you wanted a working theory I’d say that when the clubs put together their list of absolutely critical operational staff, they might take a punt on the U18s physio, who seems to have a bit of a cough and a temperature.

I think any conspiracy can be ruled out, most positive tested players have nothing to gain with a void season.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52864659
Preston North End have confirmed striker Jayden Stockley was one of 10 positive Covid-19 tests across eight Championship clubs in the latest round of testing.

There were also seven positive tests confirmed in League Two.

A total of 1,058 tests were carried out in Championship clubs on Thursday and Friday; four clubs and 135 individuals took part from League Two.

All of those who tested positive will begin a period of self-isolation.

Middlesbrough and Cardiff have each confirmed one positive test from the most recent round of testing.

Blackburn captain Elliott Bennett and two unnamed Fulham players tested positive for coronavirus in the previous round of testing in the Championship.

Two people at Hull were confirmed to have the virus after the first round of testing.

If this continues, what's the chances of the EFL going the PPG route.

I think they'll have a % positive figure in mind for each round of tests. Depends what they deem acceptable. 1.6% this time.
