Maybe the fact that you know we have the trophy safely in our hands this time is keeping you quiet.

She doesn’t sound Welsh, Rhys. Guess that means she could come from Cardiff.

What are your chances this year, B.

I've been chatting to SuRie on facebook and she's quietly confident of winning it :salute:

Jessica Mauboy is our entrant this year though I don’t think her song has been released yet. I notice she’s 5th favourite though - probably off the back of us being the only country to have never finished outside the top ten.

BTW BobbyD brought that SuRie with him to our last barby. She said she’s blocked you on facebook because you’re a relentlessly piss taking cunt. Surprised Bobby didn’t stand up for you - have you two fallen out?

Fuck, that's bad. Just need Stevie Smith to come out in support and that'll do for it...

Well done, Jess. Into the final.

BobbyD is over there supporting (and stalking) her. He’s really stoked by the semi final result.

You should fuck off back to the Dirty Music thread. You’ll much more at home with the music snobs and David Brent-like pseudes on there.

The only bloke who knows anything about music on that thread is Tommy.

Guess I gotta fess up, I'm a music snob.

Maybe next time you should add subtitles to your post to highlight the nuances to the “slower” members of the Board? ;)

Eurovision is a little light fun - I’m rooting for Sweden! :thumbl:

UK now down to 48/1 while Australia are a 90/1 shot. I could cash out on the Uk and make £8 profit ! Oh heady days !

In fairness to BW, he must get quite confused reading my posts whilst at the same time pretending to ignore them. I’d say this was only a minor faux pas by his standards.

If you want a more hilarious recent egg on face example you should check out his “Wey-hey Trump...” post on the US politics thread.

I do think the England & Wales contestant missed a trick there.

Rather than getting in a sook and refusing to reperform her song, she could have milked it by coming back on and making some defiant and cheesey announcement like: “I’ve come back to show the whole of Europe that love triumphs over hate.” Eurovision juries and televoters love that sort of crap.

If she’d done that, and with the calibre of song she had, she might even have stormed into the top 15.
