didn't he leave there voluntarily but it was sold as 'by mutual consent'. i haven't checked this but i had the impression that he got sick of their fans giving him, their highest ever scoring striker, dogs abuse?

**** cue check and maybe a quick edit.

a quick look and he did choose to leave after over 4 seasons and a few bad results where the 'atmosphere turned sour' and the fans "in the away end on Wednesday night, fans sang, “We’re fucking shit”. the speculation seems to be more that he'd run out of ideas and walked away.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Poor Frank. Reduced to watching training sessions from the other side of the fence.
I like it. What is it?

If only the board had backed him.
I see Rafa is free as of yesterday.
Coincidence, eh?

With Frank, just reflecting on how this grubby situation will effect his overall reputation at Chelsea ( club's highest scorer after all) and then reflecting on Billy and Sniffer. What happens when your greatest player goes back to their club to manage and it doesn't work out. Billy -obviously loved, revered and his managerial was pretty successful.Overall reputation not harmed at all I would contend probably the opposite. Clarke - managerial career quickly forgotten about, but he did the job with integrity and honesty ,just fell short .Reputation as a player undiminished. Overall reputation undiminished. Fat Frank ,not sure - grubby mercenary club now. Should have stayed at Derby -twat.

Aye, some folk saying it's a shame as they will get someone good in now. They were always going to at some point and I take immense satisfaction from seeing him fail and get sacked by 'his club'.

Poor decision by Roman in appointing Frank in the first place. Completely out of his depth and to be ninth with all that talent proved.

Blimey.
He's not known for getting on well with the owner, Abrahamovic not known for being told wot to do.
Could get feisty.
Good manager, though.

Obviously it's funny to see Frank relieved of his duties today but I think it was a reasonably clever appointment by Abramovich. Lampard provided a useful and relatively popular distraction during the time when they were serving a transfer ban. He's probably added some value to some of their young players by actually fielding them from time to time and they've not really suffered too much in the end. It's not impossible Tuchel will yet get them a European qualification.

Wonder what odds I can get on the cunt never getting another prem gig?
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

I said on Twitter that he'll probably get the England job but someone else pointed out that Newcastle isn't a bad bet either.

Now Frank's out the way, have They got anyone we'd be interested in taking on loan? Billy Gilmour as a number 8?

I can't see another Prem club wanting Lampard and he's probably not looking to drop into the Championship unless there's a huge transfer budget available. So most likely he'll end in up managing in the USA.
