One last job for Colin ...

this had escaped my attention, TBH. seemed like a slightly odd move form wigan to swindon, clubs in very similar league positions but i'd have thought wigan's geographic location would suit shezza much better?

And McClaren has returned as Technical Director. How many chances does he get?

Paper talk that Bilic will get hoofed tomorrow, after taking a point off City. Allardyce in.

Madness if true

It's a pity - any manager who chases after Mike Dean at half time looking for him to explain the inexplicable, is OK with me. I assume Bilic was under financial constraints, so it will be interesting to see whether WBA find some cash in Jan.

It emphasises that WBA are still a Championship side at heart - Prem clubs don't sack managers.

I’ll be honest, I thought Allardyce had become the new joke appointment for a crisis club now that Curbishley was off the agenda. Didn’t think a serious prem outfit would still actually appoint him.

Think Pearson is a good shout for this one - he might just do alright there too

It's Fat Sam then. Hilarious, and sad for them, but mostly hilarious.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

feels like a good role for Big Sam, this. probably a fairly modest basic wage by prem standards, but that won't faze a guy with his degree of entrepeneurial flair.

A potentially decent opportunity for Manila envelope fans.

Has Cellino taken over as owner at Watford without being noticed? Twelve permanent managers in the last 7 and a half years! They've made so many changes that I'd forgotten that Brendan Rodgers and Sean Dyche had been managers at Watford.
