Further investigation suggests it's just media tittle tattle... and that they have Chris Hughton in mind really. Would have thought Hughton might prefer the Villa job, though.

Hughton is a perfectly capable manager at this level.

Bit crazy when you look at some of the appointments made over the last 18 months that he has been out of work.

Anyone think Eddie Howe will quit when Bournemouth go down? He has a similar look about him as had Garry Monk shortly before being sacked at Swansea, with little apparent idea on how to turn the club around.

Pep popped.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

If Fulham have any sense they'll bank the compensation money and hire someone good.

I felt for him, a little. He had a very public debagging and that can't have been easy from a MH perspective. Him bringing it up made me wince a little.

And then he goes and says what you flagged, and suddenly I'm shouting at my phone

Looking in the rear view mirror of a glorious promotion it’s a fantastic part of the lore of our 16 years in purgatory. Almost worth going through it just to have it as part of the whole daft story
