Pleased for Pulis who was already written off by some on here, despite barely entertaining anybody, ever. Er, I mean...

Very disappointing. He was driving them into the ground.

Not great news, I wanted him to see the season out and finish bottom half.

Wouldn't surprise me if they've sounded someone out already and that someone has said I'll join at the end of the season - strikes me as something that someone like Pochettino would do.
Surely anyone not currently employed - Zidane for example - would come in now and use the January window to change the squad?
Unless of course they just got so fed up they thought "Fuck it, we're better off with no cunt rather than this cunt" and they really haven't got anyone lined up

Someone on Twatter noted that he has an excellent track record with struggling lower-mid Prem teams in Lancs

It’s an odd one because Mourinho has at once contributed to their further decent into hilarious mediocrity but I reckon he will still prove to be their most successful manager for years to come. He won two trophies during his spell and got them up to second last season. Can you see them doing that again any time soon?

I read today that he's spent 400m on 11 players. And their still just an average side.

What a waste, as Alex Harvey once sang.

Yep - he usually buys proven players to suit his system, seems like a World Cup winner for £89m a World Cup semi finalist for £75m and a Brazilian midfielder for £52m just weren't quite ready for his rigid approach

Shame - as Petula Clark memorably warbled

agreed, the amount they've spent is ridiculous, in net terms it's almost as much as citeh* & certainly far more than any other club

* - to the extent that one should believe citeh's published spending figures rather than suspecting that their 'off the books' budget is maybe around half as big again.

Mourinho’s burnt out. He couldn’t give a fuck at moment, needs a year out. Scum have got him at their stage which is a shame

He’ll be back and be winning trophies no doubt.

You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.
