Seems like Brum have gone full Cellino. Classic three Manager season.

Aye with Sunderland having dispensed with Grayson and bottom of the league Coleman must be starting to get a bit hot under the collar too

Funny how when its us it's "basket case Leeds, look how far they've fallen, haha!" and with anyone else its "poor them, look what dirty foreigners have done to that great family club"!?
The Chief: "trust me, you can't have too many years with a club like Leeds."

Monk to go Zulu?
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Pep joining the Monk, could make a difference. 3.5 year deal is pretty strong backing by BCFC..!

Well the group does have to pull in the same direction in striving to realise the project

I was on a train with a load of Blues after their defeat at Forest on Saturday.
A right old barrel of laffs they were. They were not happy with Cotterill.

Stam gone.

Story in the papers tomorrow that he was going to quit today anyway, presumably.

His stats for possession of the job were very good, but the result is the same.

The fact that we were reportedly close to appointing Stam in the summer continues to be a concern.

doesn't it just show the near impossibility of knowing what's going to happen in championship football? maybe you're expecting some italian who has watched 2 years of championship football and spoken to a few people on the inside to know more than you or me? he's in a privileged position but that doesn't mean he has the wisdom of solomon, the people whose opinions he listens to will have as varied opinions as the folk on here, there is no certain wisdom. (the only punt you can take is to risk bankruptcy to pay massive wages)

there was a logic to it 12 months ago. that'll do me. i have low expectations.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Appointing Neil Warnock used to be a certainty for promotion, until he met Leeds United.

What’s more concerning is he’s still a better option than what we’ve got.

More to the point...Ken Bates. A big obstacle to any manager.

But not the one which hampered Warnock. That was all GFH (delays in completion mainly resulting in Colin but getting the funds Ken promised him (and which GFH were lying about anyway)).

MIck's leaving Ipswich: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43466145

Think he's positioning himself for the Leeds job when Radz goes Cellino again and sacks Heckaday in May?

I like that quote in the piece: "No one looks forward to playing Ipswich."

Or watching them, either.

Fuck me. You hate Heck but you'd take Mick McCarthy anti-football? That's just downright peculiar.
