Current DJ set on NTS Radio is Michael Imperioli aka Christopher Moltisanti. That's one I wasn't expecting. He comes across as a mellow American whisperin' Bob Harris, which wasn't what I was expecting either.

I guess death changed him.

Landfill indie innit.
Any one of hundreds of bands.

Enjoy some relaxed sun folks - every photon like onto a solar panel

You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Borderline heretic perhaps, but Taylor Swift’s new album is outstanding.

There. I said it.

My youngest daughter, who got up at 5am yesterday to hear it and see the new video, agrees with you.

Meta critic score it 94/100.

It would appear that Wiley has gone full ‘last nail in career coffin’ on Twitter.

I just read a couple of reviews and it said there were songs about jilted lovers and teenage feuds. That sounds, uh, novel.

Funnily enough was listening to some old Public Enemy while exercising a few days ago, and was struck by how the Farrakhan shout-outs would go over badly these days, with his antisemitism better known/ more exemplified over the years since.

And then up pops Billy No Mates having imbibed deeply from the man's lunacy.... sit down, Wiley, you're embarrassing yourself.

I only very vaguely know who Taylor Swift is but I gather it's one of those 'intimate, stripped down' affairs that exist basically to snare the few remaining folk still making their crust writing about music - so mainly newspaper scribes who historically delight in reviews of the 'actually this famous pop star's music is good' variety.

It might be alright, I’ve not heard it and I’m not anti pop-stars. But I was amused that it’s being called her ‘indie’ album when she’s on Universal. Might be missing the point there, I think.

That's not why it exists at all, Tommy. That was just fucking rubbish.

Well no, it exists to make money. Virtually everything at that level is stage-managed and produced to the Nth degree. Isn't she the one that was country before they retooled her? They usually try a few genres before one sticks.
