Totally eclectic mix of stuff from 16th century choral stuff all the way to grinding industrial machinery as practiced by Einsturzende Neubauten
There's rare stuff in there - early Joy Division, Stranglers, Smiths, quite a few radio promos, white labels etc, - if I get round to it I could probably get a few bob for some of it, it's just that most of it has a sentimental attachment - lots of it came free with my job mind especially the limited stuff
Have about 3,000 CDs as well but keep those in the house - thing is I tend to read rather than listen to music now so we've a room full of CDs where I go and read a book!

Sell them all and take the whores upstairs instead! You can always read afterwards.

An ageing, balding Kiko on the wheels of steel

I like it. What is it?

16 years old.
Mirrors and copulation are abominable, since they both multiply the numbers of men.

I'm a musical snob.
No argument, guilty as charged m'lud.
This is astonishing.
Rachel Flowers plays everything.
This piece is unbelievably challenging.

So does she play them all like a one man band or is it all on a keyboard or is it all added on like an 8 track?

I think we should be told

She's a multi instrumentalist.
Plays keys, guitar, percussion, woodwind.
Dunno exactly how she did this, how many are conventional instruments and how many midi/VST.
Obviously done on Pro Tools, everything these days, so it doesn't really matter who plays what in most cases.
But the tech won't play the instrument for you.

Understood. I always liked the way Roy Wood played all the instruments and did backing vocals on his stuff.

The first ever person to play all of the instruments on one album was Mike Oldfield on his War of the Worlds album.

I never liked it though.
It's exactly the type of shite that Brett would like :thumbd:

Todd Rundgren on Thick as A Brick, actually.

Many years ago I went to a Gordon Giltrap gig, and between songs he referred to that album as Tubercular Balls. Better name, I thought.

Apparently Jon Bon Jovi just gave an interview on TalkSPORT in which he wished his friend Patrick Bamford the best of luck for tonight. No, I'm not making it up.

I know quite a few Labour voters that like Bon Jovi, can someone please explain to me what Tory music (not lyrics) is?

Maybe there will come a time that instead of using a ballot paper to vote we could just take our favourite 5 CD's to the polling booths and show them on entrance :thumbl:

For instance:

Sex Pistols - Labour
Bon Jovi - Tory
Whale Music - Green
Treorchy Male Voice Choir - Plaid Cymru
Middle of the road - Lib Dems

Could work :thumbl:
