Yep, that was excellent. Glad for James Milner.

Very impressive to do it at all, doubly so with so many of their best players out. Barca aren't what they were (way too many 30 something's) but still more than handy.

Just saw the fourth goal from the corner. Glorious.

That was excellent. Both their right and left back are really good.

Never had any issues with the Scousers and pleased that they showed that anything is possible in football. What a fantastic game.
The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it.

Agree. I thought they were very unlucky in the first leg and got their just deserts in the second.

I don’t begrudge them at all - they’ve been fantastic all season and, as seems likely, not winning the Premiership despite losing only one game is pretty remarkable.

My kids reckon that if we'd scored that it'd have been ungentlemanly, crap northern club cheating the heroic Barcelona out of the place in the final. Bilsea would have ordered his team to let Barcelona score because it was "the English thing to do". Its wasn't so Alexander-Arnold's an hero and Klopp a genius.

I thought it was ace :) Not keen on the scousers but rather them than Barca.

I absolutely loved that. Understand the dislike for Liverpool fans but that team is something else

Proper good game that, but I’m with Jackos’ kids.

You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Fuck Liverpool :puker:

Might have been Shankly or Paisley gloating when they beat our longest unbeaten run many years ago. Their fans are the most fickle and deluded fans you'll ever meet.

And lets not forget Heysel (because the press and everyone else have)

Once again, Fuck Liverpool and their 95 European cups, 201 Titles, 23 boat races & 4 Grand Nationals.

Indeed. How might I best respond to this, from a Facebook friend, would you suggest?

At the beginning of the season, I made a decision to supoort Liverpool FC thus season just after 4 games.
When Manchester United appointed Ole, I returned to supporting Manchester United.
Today I woke up with a huge life lesson on making life decisions.
I hope someone out there learns from my mistake.
Still I was happy to see Liverpool whoop Barcelona.
The only heartbreaking moment will be to see it equal our all time premier league record again.

Fair play to the victims, went for it, gave their all and deserved it. Didn't play fantastic flowing footie, but they were first to everything all night. Threw their bodies at everything. Keeper plays the game of his life.
Respect.

Barcelona did a good impression of Bad Leeds, especially for the 4th. Not a single Barca player looking at the ball from a corner.
Very Leeds.

Seriously?

You want that Galeano quote:

"In his life, a man can change wives, political parties or religions but he cannot change his football team." Or in the more hipster original: ""Um homem pode mudar de mulher, de partido político ou de religião, mas não de time de futebol"

i have not met a liverpool fan in years, so i don't have that negative view
but it seems to me the crowd at anfield generate more noise and emotion than any other top 6 team - so fair play to them
and the players and coaches lining up to sing with the fans at the end - really, what more could a club supporter wish for
