Pah, never got anywhere near the fucker. Not that I tried too hard: too busy downing the free booze, scoffing and mingling with other folk. Made about two quid on the day on the gee-gees, but that included a winner, two seconds and a third. Need to stop putting it all on the nose, I suppose. Racing crowd ain't mine, that's for sure.

Bale obviously wants to come back to England. I'd imagine it'll be tricky to make a deal though, he's nearly 29, injury prone, has always relied on speed, and both player & club will be looking for top, top dollar. Maybe scum will take the plunge given that they offered an insanely long & lavish deal to Sanchez, where similar conditions applied.
