Yeah, Tommy, seen a lot on Waccoe earlier this evening. Just trying to separate the news from the wank emojis was to exhausting for me. But there was some positive stuff.

Is it positive? Is that what we want? I’m not so sure.

If Qatar come in and get us, say, a Sancho or An Alexander-Arnold type? Yeah. I reckon that’d be good.

Ain’t gonna happen though.

I don’t like the idea anyway, but right at the minute it just feels like a shitload of external noise we don’t need.

They can fuck off until the season’s over, at the very least.

One thing that's happened during this lockdown is the decline in Tiger bread. My mother's even started making her own and its shit

Iceland do their own tiger bread and it isn't too bad.

Aldi have been doing a Honey flavoured loaf for quite a while now, well worth a try.

Most big supermarkets now are also doing Seeded loafs for around a quid a pop, quite nice too.

In February a neighbour of mine took his shopping out of the boot of his car and I noticed he had bought a loaf of just plain white bread. I try my best to avoid the cunt now :thumbd:

I'd welcome some sort of investment. Especially if it's going to improve the squad.

Fuck knows. I mean, I''ve never been particularly keen on the "get rich owners and buy a load of expensive footballers" strategy for becoming good but I'm also not too keen on an extended spell of lower mid table with the odd relegation battle thrown in (and I'm not even going to contemplate yo-yo club/another extended stay in the Championship). So, yeah, if that means an owner with deeper pockets then we're going to have to go there. I would however prefer it to be:
1. Less questionably sourced funds
2. Not as the little brother to another venture (fuck PSGs reserves and fuck not being allowed to compete in Europe because of conflicts of interest)
3. After Bielsa has chosen to move on/retire - I can't see a change of ownership being a positive for him right now, he doesn't seem like the sort of manager in a hurry to spend big on players (although equally he'll have some minimum standards Radz may struggle to reach).

All in, I pretty much want us to achieve a level where we're not forced to watch our best young players move onto the dizzying heights of Norwich, Villa or fucking Bournemouth but equally I don't want to get to a point where there are no academy graduates in our starting XI. The current lot may not all have Leeds in their blood but they seem an honest bunch who are genuinely delighted to be here.

Thing is Phil, the guys that don't have questionably sourced funds, and there are very few depending on your bar, are not interested in footy.

Aye, I'm very much aware of that but there's a sliding scale of cuntery. Radz isn't entirely clean, especially with the Myanmar links but he a large leap away from Qatar state ownership. I guess I prefer the 49ers route or some of Russell Crowe and friends consortium even if that leads to only modestly rich rather than obscenely rich owners. I'd be more than content to see how Radz deals with the EPL for a season or 2 before cashing in too, I'd like to think he can help us stay up and consolidate before someone else takes us back towards the top 6, let the money arrive to shake the almost inevitable post Bielsa slump.

From a football angle, I would love to see a Bielsa Leeds team take on the Premiership and win it. Not next season - top six will do - but the one after.
It's not much to ask.

I would also like to see a Bielsa team win the EPL. However isn't his key skill the ability to take whatever he's given and improve it enormously? I think the current Leeds side would survive in the EPL but it needs reinforcements, especially as Pablo can't go on forever. To win the title might require a complete re-build, which isn't necessarily something that Bielsa would fancy.

But the historical throwbacks are irresistibly tempting.

The 49ers are owned by the York family which does seems a little symbolic.
