I've just got back from seeing the specialist and finding out I haven't got a nasty cancer. Bloods, CT, MRI and biopsy results all clear....Yay!

Still have to have a big fucking lump cut out of my throat, but that's small beer compared to the alternative I suppose. Also means I can celebrate my 40th next week and travel up for the Hammers game without the worry hanging over me....Yay2!

Even better is I get to go to the game without the kids, meaning I can start drinking nice and early and spend the money I would of used for their tickets on more beer! Yay (again)

Good news for you fella, a similar thing happened to a friend of mine and it was definitely a relief for him as well even though he has a big scar on his neck is much better than cancer or any of those things.

Back on the Stella theme ... I noticed Stella on draught during a recent business trip to SC in the USA ... it was only $3 a pint but the nice young lady behind the bar passed me a handful of $1 off vouchers, making it $2 a pint. Did the conversion thing and realised this made it £1.26 a pint!

Even better news that it was the hotel bar, they didn't itemise the meal & drinks on my bill so worked picked up the whole tab!
