i saw my year 11's for the last time today, the ones who no longer need to do their GCSE's. they made a big card for me 'to the best teacher ever' on the inside, with the front being some of the more quotable things i've said in the last two years that they've been making a secret record of.

which was nice.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

Lovely thing to have, that.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Sitting watching my site being built, quietly sorting out deliveries, listening to the TMS ball-by-ball replay of last year's Headingley Test while the sun shines.

Glorious.
I like it. What is it?

Does this mean your work situation is (for now) in a good place again? Great news if so.

Beautiful sunny day. Almost all my virtual meetings can be done outside. One of them requires drinking. Wife is out working, and on her way in bought copious flour, more plus beer is on order to be delivered, and I have my first asparagus of 2020. And *touches wood* nobody I know is currently sick. I'll take that, ta.

How many more times are you going to feel the need to mention “virtual meetings” (whilst posting all day on here)?

Have you been furloughed or something?

We've been out wild garlic hunting a couple of times this week. Slim pickings within easy access, but hoping to locate a bit more this weekend.

Some people, hopefully working happily and safely, are currently preparing me what I can only describe as a Colossal Beer Parcel.

I'm grinning despite the hail against the window.

I just took delivery of a box of wine. Mrs DL's doing. I expect I'll pay for it in other ways...

You made her get the wrong one, I should imagine.
