Looking like Solskjaer’s turning out to be as much use as a fart in a perfume factory.

Tragic, that. I’m sure no one could have predicted it.

Yeah, it is a pleasing crumb of comfort to see them being rubbish. Don't get me wrong, if I could choose between: a) us going up and them winning five BAROMETERs on a row; or b) us staying down, them staying resolutely mid table, I'd choose a) in a heartbeat, but, yeah, them being bad is faintly heart warming.

... or maybe someone is actually a half decent manager. Pochettino was probably the right choice.

I think they’ve probably got all sorts of issues with excessive player power and an incoherent / inexperienced boardroom. Pochettino couldn’t rescue the situation.

Which is nice, obviously.

I think there’s a lot of truth in that - signing Sanchez on that wage to stop City getting him, the seemingly random recruitment policy. But hiring a completely inadequate manager isn’t the answer. Their priority this summer should be to clear out Pogba while they can still get a stupid price.

As you intimate - a thoroughly rotten situation!! :thumbl: :thumbl: :thumbl:

From Woodward downward (sic) its's about performance; that they have appointed a manager who cannot deliver is somewhat irrelevant. Way too many prima donnas across the Pennines. Will probably be a train wreck the next 18 months at least, hopefully.

All that truly matters is can we be promoted this season.

You are of course right, and I really want an ice cream too.

Be nice if it were a 99 though...
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Yeah, you'd have to think that the only way to the very top for scum that'd be a) reasonably quick; and b) reasonably sure-fire would involve spending that'd be way too rich for the Glazers' blood, y'know, get in say six £50m-£100m players in their mid twenties, per Wilko's law assume that 2 would turn out ok, keep them on, 2 would do well & want a payrise, 2 would need to be moved out, possibly at a loss, rinse and repeat the next summer...

That game had a goal in the 1st minute and the 90th minute, it's like a Simpson's parody of football.

It matters not a jot in the greater scheme of things, but I would laugh my tits off if Spurts - with their Greatest Stadium On The Planet - buggered up CL qualification, losing out to Arse at the last minute.

Scum failed to make CL - most of the day bbc.com accompanied the headline with picture of grinning Pogba - now a dejected Mata.
