Roberts performances are no where near EPL standard, he could do with a season or two in the Championship to get his career back on track after all his injuries.

I agree he's not really good enough for the EPL yet but I don't agree about him needing a loan, he gets on the pitch for us most weeks and there's no guarantee he'd be an automatic starter on loan, he shouldn't have been for us last season. Better off here and playing a squad role IMO. That changes if his minutes dry up completely.

Tyler is just our mouton noir de jour as they say on the boulevards of Mont St Michel. He has Still got the talent to come good, although he’s been a little lazy in recent performances, which doesn’t auger terribly well

Has he been lazy? In a Bielsa squad?

Lazy probably not the best word imo.
He just looks a bit lost, doesn't know what to do or where to be. He's not a 9, not a 10, not a winger and not good enough to have a free role.
Compare with everyone else who know their roles so well .
There's a decent player in there somewhere, but possibly not at Bielsa's Leeds.
Mirrors and copulation are abominable, since they both multiply the numbers of men.

I’ve been pretty consistent with my main observation of Tyler right from the day I first saw him play for us. There’s a lack of what might be called guile, or at least assertiveness, with him. A half second hint of doubt in a lot of what he does. A timidity. I see a lot of that in Costa too, but he is somewhat fortunate in that he cost a lot of money and is in a position where we don’t have too much depth so has been able to keep playing and show his undoubted gifts on a more frequent basis. Hopefully further ageing and development will enable Roberts to find that more assertive side to his game.

someone reminded me that roofey's goal wasn't Rangers' best ever in Europe; rather this team effort was, with a definite hint of Bielsa era Leeds about the buid-up, and Wilko era Leeds about the finish.

Don't see how Roberts gets much game time now we have Hernandez, Rodrigo, Poveda and Raphinha to pick from. Plenty of time to find out now the window is closed. Happy if he surprises me, seems like a great kid, bit right now he's third choice forward, at best, and we only need one. By the end of this season Gelhardt and Greenwood will probably be better prospects.

The fuck was the keeper doing?
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Mebbe. I've seen corpses recover quicker though.

Millwall 0 Carlos 3
Looking forward to seeing the goals, to find out if any of 'em look like Bielsaball.
Good luck to The Terriers is what I say. Always spoken well of us.
