1996/7 did for me - I couldn't remember us scoring in the league let alone who was the top goalscorer. I was very surprised by the answer.

One of my lads has football practise tonight and Brolin's going to be there with a few other local celebrities to record an ad, told my lad he has to wear his Leeds shirt instead his usual club shirt, just a shame I don't have time to get George Graham printed on the back :(

Is your lad's team sponsored by a burger joint?
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

followed that and found jayjay okocha's goal for frankfurt that's just a joy to watch. him and geoge hagi were my favourite 90's non leeds players. gazza was our best, but he couldn't do what them two could do imo.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

When the previous owners played that fucking song and video, Reading fans must have thought that this was surely their lowest ebb. Alas.

Watching Massimo destroy another club would be great fun, I must admit. Though he’ll probably fluke Reading/Brum a 6th-placed finish and go up via the playoffs. Sod’s law.

Cellino might be the only thing that could possibly make Reading even the slightest bit interesting

it's a shame that our Cilla passed on, it'd have been nice to think of her as something like, y'know, the Downing Street cat, passed down a succession of hotseat incumbents. I bet her and Max would have got on famously.

So goodbye to Harrison (male), moving on. Bit rough we're apparently firing him into space but I guess Bielsa knows what he's doing.

Just watching the Arsenal 2-3 Leeds game. Two things jump out at me.

1 What a team we had. How the fuck did we nearly go down that season and did the next? Despite what was going on behind the scenes.

2 Ian Harte really was a dreadful defender wasn't he!

it seems mad that for a year or so he was absolutely exactly what we need right now. fat enough to hold the ball up, intelligent enough to use it creatively in and around the box, but also able to find the back of the net repeatedly. i'm just uncertain as to how important felching is in the list of what we need right now.
