Antenucci scored again today for Spal. Lassogga aside he’s so much better than what we currently have it’s embarrassing we let him leave.

Any sell on clause for LUFC ??

If true, this demonstrates the other side of the argument for a player staying in the Championship for regular football with his "home" club or taking a punt with a "shit" prem club and either playing reserves/bench/disappearing or playing and being noticed by a top 6 club and moving on again.

I'd be disappointed if he didn't flick the Vs at the judge from the dock.

That'd be a bad move imo. He's got a lot of talent but maybe not big six levels and even if he is going to be that good (which I admit is possible) almost certainly would need another season or so playing every week somewhere.

i stumbled across the knowledge that julian joachim is apparently still playing, for the mightly radcliffe olympic [based just outside nottingham, level c 10 of the football pyramid]. this cheered me up somehow.

steve evans has just resigned from the mansfield job. had a look at league two and they're in the play offs in decent form, suggesting he's off to climb the greasy pole elsewhere.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.

He'd lick it, not climb it.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Peterborough. A club deserving of BFSE surely?

We're going to get thrown out of the football pyramid and fined £100 million for this.

I reckon Monk and co will keep Birmingham up. Not necessarily because of him, I just think they probably would have regardless. They've got some good players.

Gonna be close: they have lost more games than anyone else in the league - four more than Sunderland. I agree, though, they shouldn't be where they are... but they are.

East Thurrock FC, ladies and gentlemen:

Ref booked Sanchez Watt for kicking the ball away. Asked him 3 times what his name was, replied three times ‘What’. Booked him for dissent, then sent him off. Called the captain over who explained his name was actually Watt, then reversed the decision. Unbelievable scenes!
