Had to leave early for work for the same reason they didn’t want to go home though. My missus was being far to nice without understanding a thing - can’t fault her for trying.

We nearly didn't! But then we thought that if we did, it'd be cathartic, and I wouldn't end up sitting still awake at the wrong end of a bottle of Aldi Argie Malbec at 3am. That part didn't work I guess but the podcast sounds okay: https://play.acast.com/s/thesquareball/bonus-griefcast

Glad it helped

I just wanted say a big thank you to Moscowhite, Dan & Michael, for keeping me entertained this season; whilst I've either been bored at work or out for my bi-weekly run (I walk really).

The PO defeat podcast was a particular highlight!

I also think I've differentiated between all of your voices now. Moscow has the low husky drawl, Michael the depressed tone & Dan the hopefully optimistic one.

Lastly, Moscow I do not got on Twitter that much, but I have just read your latest article. Fantastic piece of writing - I think I love you.

Keep up the good work!

For any of you space fans, 13 minutes to the Moon is bloody ace.
Tells the story of the Apollo project. In detail.
Lots of great stuff I never knew. Some fantastic interviews.

Agreed, it’s good.

But it could be hours shorter. The over dramatic set ups by Fong don’t half grate - and go on far too long.

A good editor could / would have it down to 20 minutes an episode
I like it. What is it?

Yeah enjoyed that. His recollection of Bradford was particularly moving. Comes across, as expected, as a top bloke - though I did find his view points on modern footballers to be a bit ‘old man shouts at cloud.’ I’m 99.9% sure that the majority of the current Leeds team will be very aware of who Billy Bremner is and have an appreciation to the heritage of the club.

More of this sort of thing gents.

interested to hear that 'the extra ball' will be covering/has covered that old mid-season VHS tape from 89/90, tho have not heard it.

i'm possibly the world's leading authority on that, er, production, having watched it a minimum of say 50 times, am sure i cld contribute to the debate... you name it, character analysis of the sheffield 'bellamy brothers', batts' reasons for deliberately giving away the penalty kick, a game theoretic treatment of merv day/wayne biggins penalty head-to-heads, drawing mostly on data from our earlier ZDS cup encounter, etc.

i Tend to listen to the TSB podcast every time and only listen occasionally to the others, but the “Talking Shutt” podcast is worth a listen this week as their guest is Angus Kinnear.

He’s being refreshingly open with his answers and gives you a pretty good idea of their thinking on a range of topics and direction

sorry, delayed response, quite right, though easy to confuse the two [names at least]. over the years i occasionaly [don't think they do/did away games?] thought i caught further glimpses of the baileys, most recently i think quite some time ago, with quite bad [inappropriately non-greying] dreadlocks. pair of characters.

Couldn't find the fanzine thread so this will do.

Any of you interested in old Sqb fanzines (early 2000's) and a handful of programmes? Have a few (3) of the first and 7 of the other. The most memorable being the 4-3 Liverpool game (Fk yeah) and Roma 2nd leg UEFA.

Have to say, the fanzine has come on a long way. But "Scum Skulls" still works.

Free to a loving home (xept postage, speak to Eric ).
Lemme know.

Had an early morning call off Chubbs this morning to try for me to join in on one of the upcoming podcasts, we gave all possible attemps via different links a trial but even the very short time delay made it impossible.

Technonogy, eh. Oh well.
