0-2 in an ODI is really something.

Have England set a good total even once in limited overs cricket this summer? Can't recall. The bowlers seem to have to dig them out every time, with bat and ball.

Still 83 from the bowlers though.

From 0-2 that's a good total but with that short boundary it probably should have been more. Hopefully the pitch has dried up a bit and Dilly can work his magic again.

Aussies definitely in the driving seat with this partnership. Thry definitely have the weaker tail however the rate Maxwell and Carey are going it won't matter

It comes to something when our Adil is bowling the 50th over.

Starc, straight 6 off the first ball with 9 required.

Curran had overs left - so captain's choice.

Yeah, it didn't feel like that was going to be enough. Probably shouldn't have bowled Dilly for the last over though.

Oh I’m not blaming Adil. Archers no ball and Buttlers drop (off Adil) were far more meaningful in terms of the result

I was slightly pleased with the result as I thought there were signs that England we becoming a bit complacent, e.g. the talk about having earned respect and being able to pull out victories under any circumstances. The batting from Roy, Root, Morgan and Buttler has been disappointing, which is a bit concerning given that Billings is the player reckoned to be most at risk once Stokes returns.

Roy and Warner both seem done if I'm being honest.

I'll be keeping an eye out for the Sunrisers Hyderabad scores in the IPL, as Bairstow and Warner are back there again. Bit surprised to see the price paid for Warner of 12.5 crore, as compared with only 2.2 crore for Bairstow.

Jofra Archer hits four consecutive sixes in the final over. Maybe he is an allrounder after all.

Lovely stuff.

Bar that Mark Nicholas. Can not abide his commentary.
