I'm not sure I want the Chinese government to know what I eat for breakfast, either

Will take a look though, thank you!

Apologies if this has been covered before, but what are people's preferences for VPN apps for phones/tablets?

NordVPN are almost universally regarded as being the safest pair of hands and best all round service. They're not the cheapest but the longer subscription you can afford, the more modest the price.

You can also get some deceptively cheap 'lifetime' VPNs that might work sporadically but there's always a question mark about what they do with your data and how long the company will be solvent etc.

Just made a bump from 2Gb/5000m/Unlim at £9 to 50Gb/5000m/Unlim at twenty. I might need to use a lot of 4g....

Depending on what you want, you might need to enquire if the 4g will be bumped up to include 5g in a year or twos time when it is fully rolled out.

It's a year lock so that's fine.

Besides, consider how much of the delay in clicking around is due to latency and server response/handshaking times, and maybe bumps on speed don't always translate to massive improvements in experience.

Streaming 4k or 8k video fine, but reading your Facebook?

I am looking to upgrade. I have fallen in love with my ONEPLUS5T, but its stating to go. I cant seem to get a contract for the 6T, as this phone seems to have disappeared off all the leading providers, ie o2, ee, & vodaphone, and i need to pay monthly.
Does anyone know of a rival, i need the 128 memory as im stacked with videos and photos. The cost of the new ONEPLUS 7 is out of my buget. Im paying about £40 now with 12gb data.

I have a 6T, I also have the 5T (as a backup these days) - I preferred the 5T in all honesty.

The screen on the 5T is much better.
Frustratingly the 6T does not have a notification dot.

Oneplus used to be really competitive price wise but now they're towards the top price banding. I doubt that I'll get another.

If you're set on a 6T then ring the companies direct as they might have some in stock. Most phone shops are franchises and will only stock the latest models.

Just bought the wife a pixel 3a SIM free, and it's great.

Memory might be an issue, but cloud that shit homie, it's 2019!

My work phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, you can get them from China for about £130. I use it as much as my iPhone XS, which cost literally £1000 more. If anyone wants a terrific budget phone, definitely consider the former. Can’t really think of anything bad about it.

Meh. Got a sim only contract and bought my phone on a 0% credit card and pay a bit off each month. Would never have another phone contract. I've only got a haewai, fuck knows what model. Previously had an iPhone and would never go back. My phone is sound despite what Trump thinks
