So basically the human body managed to evolve millions of years without medicine and has found it's own cures to disease given time.

But now we are intervening......Year 1 AD = 200million....Year Population
1 200 million
1000 275 million
1500 450 million
1650 500 million
1750 700 million
1804 1 billion
1850 1.2 billion
1900 1.6 billion
1927 2 billion
1950 2.55 billion
1955 2.8 billion
1960 3 billion
1965 3.3 billion
1970 3.7 billion
1975 4 billion
1980 4.5 billion
1985 4.85 billion
1990 5.3 billion
1995 5.7 billion
1999 6 billion
2006 6.5 billion
2009 6.8 billion
2011 7 billion
2025 8 billion
2043 9 billion
2083 10 billion

The world population has grown tremendously over the past 2,000 years. In 1999, the world population passed the six-billion mark. By March of 2018, the official world population had jumped over the seven-billion mark to an estimated 7.46 billion.
World Population Growth
Humans had been around for tens of thousands of years by the year 1 A.D. when the Earth's population was an estimated 200 million. It hit the billion mark in 1804 and doubled by 1927.
It doubled again in less than 50 years to four billion in 1975.

An American would think that way, after all they're at the centre of the universe aren't they?
But yes it is worth considering if the morally correct path we've chosen is deranged.

Our local indie showed O Lucky Man! with Malcolm McDowell this afternoon.

Absolutely brilliant film. Straight into my top ten, I think.

I watched In Fabric on Friday. A rather bizarre film all about a haunted dress. Very funny, and was a good homage to the really bad horror films from eighties. Defo worth a watch.

If you didn’t see They shall not grow old on the telly last night, get thee to a picture house or iPlayer this week.

Truly outstanding.
I like it. What is it?

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix, new Coen Brothers. Series of Wild West short stories. First couple are really good then it sort of trails off. 7/10 maybe?

Meanwhile, currently watching San Andreas which is really, really, extraordinarily bad.

i watched it on Saturday night, enjoyed what i saw, didn't quite reach the end as i fell asleep. The same thing happened for the last episode of killing eve, which i thought was the best thing on telly this year. It's no reflection on how good either were in any way.
increasing doubt, decreasing hope, even my imaginary friend went and changed his mind.
