I remember my dad telling me about the Comet, how futuristic it had seemed. Still looks awesome IMO.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

I like a pint in a straight glass, me.

Was in Brighton today and there's this place called the utility shop which sells proper old school general shit: enamel dishes; blue and white tea towels etc. Came across these Duralex pint glasses and stocked up. Phwooaaar

Urgh, straight glasses are so boring. Give me a nobbly tankard with a handle, or one of those vases that they serve Peroni in, any day.

In which I was served a Guinness last night. But with a Guinness brand mark on it. Yes my friends. Guinness. In a vase. A branded vase.

2016. The year that keeps on giving.

Despite the wanky designer background, I am very much of the view that Christmas tree decorations should follow a 'cheesy as fuck' theme rather than a 'tasteful' one.

A mate on FB posted that he'd picked this up in the January sales. Absolutely outstanding:

This looks rather wonderful.

Interesting, because essentially it's a 60-years-on update on this, which is wonderful and one of Germany's finest modern buildings:

Whether you read the HdM version as homage or just plagiarism? I guess the point is moot.

I just bought this for our office.

It's absolutely friggin' gorgeous: one of the best graphic design / brand identity manuals I've ever come across.

That's amazing. Always had a vague wish to visit them, this isn't helping.
